The charred remains of the building are still deemed "unsafe" Friday and emergency personnel are on the scene monitoring hot spots.

Four other officers were wounded in the shootout, and Hughes was also killed. In total, eight officers were struck during the gunfire. Three task force officers were pronounced deceased at the hospital.
